We are currently searching for a 2nd Shift Senior Distribution Coordinator to be based out of Philadelphia, PA. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this person will coordinate and plan all activity in the distribution center facility including the timing and location for carriers to be loaded and unloaded. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

Additional Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Assist in managing performance to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation goals.
  • Optimizing inventory profile
  • Monitor inventory activity to proactively adjust when needed, including requests and reporting to ensure inventory correctness. Duties include cycle counts, scrap requests and quality requests.
  • Manage reporting process involving inbounds and solving issues regarding OS&D, loose report investigation.
  • Research RMAs and returns along with complaints and turn them around in 48 hrs.
  • Traffic planning when needed which would include planning flatbed, LTL and small parcel, to also include cutting BOLs and entering tracking and ensure flatbeds are dispatched and accepted by carriers.
  • Ensure orders are flowing through warehouse in a timely fashion using reports to validate and follow up were necessary.
  • Interact with various personnel including safety, customer service and global logistics
  • Ensure compliance for all company policies, rules and procedures including good housekeeping, monthly safety meetings, safety rules, and incident reporting and investigation.
  • Help plan and direct labor on the floor as needed.
  • Assign and direct the workforce as needed to help control the flow of work, including assigning hourly staff to tasks and scheduling OT, and tracking performance.
Qualifications Include
  • 3-5 years of experience in distribution center required
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, prefer at least some secondary education
  • Knowledge of distribution center management in areas such as bulk and pick pack
  • Knowledge in LTL, TL, Will Calls and containerized shipments
  • JDE Experience preferred

This job operates in an office of a distribution facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sometimes be exposed to forklift traffic. Steel toed shoes, safety glasses, and hard hat is required PPE.
